Sr Facilities Specialist - Refrigeration

Senior Facilities Specialist focused on refrigeration equipment maintenance and repair at a life-sciences facility in Richmond, Virginia. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment
- Conduct quality control of maintenance documentation for regulatory compliance
- Complete assigned work orders supporting laboratory and facility operations
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments on facility activities
- Respond to facility emergencies and recommend improvements to service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational qualification in relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in refrigeration maintenance or facility operations
- Journeyman's Card, State License, or CFC certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and computerized maintenance systems
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in cold environments (-22°F/-6°C)
