Senior Manager - Claims Management (Mortgage Servicing)

Claims Department Leadership RoleThe Claims department's mission is to minimize losses by maximizing recoveries through the timely and accurate filing of claims to investors, insurers, and other third parties. In this role you will lead a team of managers, driving performance and accountability while fostering a culture that emphasizes continuous development and leadership at all levels. Your leadership will directly support our mission to minimize losses through effective claim recovery processes and oversight.Primary responsibilities include:Inspire department managers and staff to actionCoach, mentor, and develop others to improve employee successEstablish and communicate clear performance expectations to achieve department goalsOversee operational controls and ensure adherence to policies and proceduresIdentify and mitigate risk by challenging existing strategies and implementing improvementsCollaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve workflowsMonitor short and long-term capacity needsAnalyze performance data to uncover insights and optimize recovery outcomesManage various projects and perform other relevant duties as neededThe successful candidate will possess:Bachelor's degree in a business-related field5+ years mortgage servicing experience in a leadership role that reflects progression and increased responsibilityIn lieu of mortgage servicing experience, will consider commensurate experience leading management-level professionals in an operational or financial services settingStrong interpersonal skills, exhibiting excellence in character, discipline, and self-motivationA commitment to accountability, teamwork, and leadership by exampleFamiliarity with Microsoft Office productsExperience reading regulations and applying to operations work flow and proceduresHigh level of analytical thinking and a creative and energetic approach to problem solvingBoth the initiative to work independently and the flexibility to collaborateProven success in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent communication skills with experience leading meetings and conveying informationAbility to handle conflict effectively and in a positive manner**Position is onsite in Oklahoma City, must reside in the area to be considered**
