Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process by loading and operating CNC machines and manual vertical mills. You'll work with various controllers, including Fanuc and Haas, and be responsible for running multiple machines simultaneously. Monitoring production, measuring, and reporting are key aspects of this role, as well as ensuring the quality of machined components using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Load and operate CNC machines and manual vertical mills.
• Utilize different types of controllers, such as Fanuc and Haas.
• Manage and operate multiple machines at once.
• Monitor, measure, and report on production processes.
• Inspect machined components to ensure they meet quality requirements using precision measuring instruments.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines using hand tools.
• Fix or repair fixtures as needed.

• Proficiency in machine operation and CNC operation.
• Experience with Haas mills and Fanuc controllers.
• Ability to read and understand blueprint schematics.
• Skill in troubleshooting CNC machine operations.
• Experience in CNC setup and maintenance repair.

• G Code Programming experience is a plus.
• A strong industrial background or mechanical aptitude is highly desirable.
• Interest in developing a career in machining.

Work Environment

This role offers two openings on the first shift (Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm) and two openings on the second shift (Monday to Friday, 3pm-11:30pm). Candidates must be open to working overtime as needed. The work environment is dynamic and requires a commitment to quality and precision.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of West Henrietta, NY.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
