Business Development Manager, Power Distribution

Business Development Manager, Power Distribution—Healthcare Vertical Location: North Region (Remote) Responsibilities Review complex electrical designs and offer alternative solutions (bill of material optimization) to customers that drive incremental value over the competition. Facilitate bid negotiations covering all aspects of large or complex projects, including system design, bill of materials, labor content, local codes & standards, and contract negotiations with risk management. Identify key stakeholders in the project bid and negotiation process and represent Siemens solutions to those stakeholders. Evaluate business opportunities and make recommendations on specifications, system design, and product application. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering. 5+ years of experience in power distribution. Strong understanding of medium & low voltage power distribution products. Valid Driver’s license in good standing. 21+ years of age to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan. Eligible to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship required now or in the future. Located in the southeastern U.S. or willing to relocate. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Business development/engineering experience in the healthcare construction market. Ability to manage conflict and navigate discussions with stakeholders who may not agree on a solution. Forward-thinking, growth mindset with passion for business growth. Self-starter and motivator capable of creating and maintaining key customer relationships. Experience managing C-level relationships within healthcare end users. Compensation Pay range: $91,463 – $156,794 per year plus incentives (actual wage may vary based on budget, experience, skills, and geographic location).
