If you are passionate about supporting elementary-aged students on the autism spectrum, this contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician offers a meaningful and rewarding experience. You will play an important role in a dedicated Autism Program located near Wilmington, DE, working full-time and onsite from late October through early February.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
• Current Delaware PARA Permit—both credentials are required
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience supporting elementary-aged students, especially those needing physical intervention strategies
• Proficiency in collecting behavioral and instructional data within a classroom environment
• Willingness to complete bathroom duties including toileting, diapering, and hygiene support (required)
• Commitment to working full scheduled hours onsite without exception
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in a team-oriented setting

Core Responsibilities:

• Support students who require specialized behavioral interventions and assist with physical intervention strategies as appropriate
• Collect and document behavioral and instructional data as part of individualized student programming
• Collaborate with teachers and the school team, adapting as classroom assignments may change according to school needs
• Perform essential hygiene-related tasks, including bathroom duties, as an integral element of student care
• Maintain a consistent and professional presence from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM daily
