Schedule Options:


Part-Time: Saturday & Sunday - two 12-hour day shifts

Full-Time: Saturday & Sunday - two 12-hour day shifts plus Monday & Tuesday 8-hour overnight (3rd shift) schedules


ALNYE Trucking is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Multi-Shift Dispatcher to join our operations team. This is a fast-paced position that plays a critical role in coordinating milk transportation routes, supporting drivers, and ensuring exceptional service to dairy farms and processing facilities.

What You'll Do


As a Dispatcher, you will coordinate daily driver schedules and routes, communicate with farms and processing plants, monitor equipment readiness, and respond quickly to operational changes and emergencies. You will also maintain accurate trip documentation, assist drivers, answer incoming calls, and help keep the office organized and running smoothly.


Key responsibilities include:

• Dispatching drivers and coordinating milk pick-up and delivery schedules
• Monitoring driver start times and follow up on delays
• Communicating with drivers, farms, and processing plants to resolve issues efficiently
• Entering trip and load information into Microsoft Teams
• Ensure Farm Pick-Up and Transport equipment is ready for drivers
• Review briefing notes with outgoing dispatcher
• Preparing BOL sheets, delivery tickets, and trip reports
• Maintaining dispatch records and equipment lists
• Providing professional customer service to drivers, visitors, and callers
• Supporting office organization and supply management
• Monitor milk sample storage temperatures
• Maintain a clean front office and driver area
• Prepare fresh coffee

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and data entry systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Dispatching, logistics, transportation, or scheduling experience preferred
• Familiarity with Samsara is a plus

What We're Looking For


Supervisory Responsibilities:


This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.


Minimum Qualification Standards:
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Computer proficiency including the ability to send/receive email messages, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and generating reports using standard software applications.
• Must demonstrate strong communication, telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork and perform computer data entry.
• Skill in organizing and establishing priorities.
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
• Ability to resolve difficult or stressful emergency issues.
• Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
• Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
• Understand functional aspects of Samsara and Microsoft Teams

Equipment, Machines and Software Used:


This position requires the regular use of a computer, printer, photocopier, telephone, fax machine, scanner, and calculator.

Mental and Physical Requirements:
• Close mental and visual attention required to perform a wide variety of tasks dealing primarily with preparing and analyzing data and figures, performing dispatching work, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
• The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle, push, pull, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Environmental Conditions:


Work is performed in an office environment where there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
