Account Payable Specialist - With Healthcare Experience

Location: Hollywood, FL

About the Role:

At Focus Health Network, LLC, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Payable Specialist - With Healthcare Experience to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payment to our healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile invoices, credits, and adjustments in accordance with company policies and procedures

• Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts and accounts payable ledgers

• Verify and document vendor information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Prepare and transmit payment batches to vendors on a timely basis

• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable accounts and investigate and resolve any discrepancies

• Assist with accounts payable audits and provide support to external auditors as needed

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues and ensure seamless financial operations

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a focus on healthcare finance

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems ,

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work effectively with vendors, internal stakeholders, and external auditors
