About the Role The Industrial Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial management of our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Job Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts related to pharmaceutical formulations and batch manufacturing. Monitor and report on production costs, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical grade standards and industry regulations. Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual costs, providing actionable insights to management. Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure accurate costing of products and adherence to dissolution testing protocols. Assist in the development of financial models to support new product formulations and manufacturing processes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Preferred Qualifications CPA or CMA certification. Experience with ERP systems and financial software specific to the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements. Skills The required skills in pharmaceutical formulations and product formulation are essential for accurately assessing the costs associated with manufacturing processes. Daily work will involve applying dissolution testing knowledge to ensure that financial reports reflect the quality and compliance of products. Proficiency in batch manufacturing processes will enable the accountant to provide detailed insights into production efficiency and cost management. Additionally, strong analytical skills will be utilized to conduct variance analysis and develop financial models that support strategic initiatives.
