District Operations Supervisor

District Operations Supervisor Greensboro, NC – Hybrid Daikin Applied seeks a District Operations Supervisor to provide progressive supervision and service operations oversight to the district service office. The role involves leading technician teams, managing project operations, and supporting sales, customer service, and contract fulfillment. Responsibilities Act as the escalation contact for customer issues or concerns. Support sales through job quotation and estimation. Approve estimates for scope of work, labor hours, and material content, assess profit risk of jobs, control material and labor costs, and provide feedback to the District Manager. Establish project timelines and meet with customers to communicate and coordinate project schedule. Manage projects, assign technicians, oversee ordering of equipment and material, and ensure proper customer sign‑offs per JSOX requirements. Provide leadership and supervision to the technician team and be responsible for the team’s development and training. Oversee quotation of call‑in work, transactional sales, and assign techs as needed to ensure quotes are delivered to customers on time. Maintain consistent interface with current customers, establishing effective relationships to identify additional selling opportunities. Ensure maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled and inspections completed on time; provide input to Service Coordinators on scheduling activity of technicians. Oversee contract renewal, escalation, and upgrades on assigned house accounts. Work with the technician team to generate pull‑through service and repair work on existing house accounts. Manage the Tech Tip program and lead customer care initiatives. Conduct technician reviews, ensuring completion on time each year. Support technician training by coordinating training with the Regional Trainer, reporting the training plan and budget to the District Manager. Collaborate with Account Managers and the District Manager to resolve customer issues, including customer visits. Provide weekly job status, revenue, and warranty recovery reports to the District Manager. Own performance management of technicians, including goals setting, performance reviews, and performance management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred). 4‑6+ years of related work experience in the commercial HVAC industry or a related field. 2+ years of prior experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role. Extensive knowledge of HVAC design, systems, applications, and energy‑saving solutions. Demonstrated success in strategically leading business units.
