Description
This position requires a Registered Nurse to work full-time in a community-based Adult Day Health Care Program in New York City.
The role involves providing care to adults with chronic medical conditions and visual impairments, and requires strong communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in generic office software is preferred.

Requirements
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current nursing license from the State Board of Nursing.
3-5 years of recent staff experience in Med/Surg., Long Term Care, or Community Health.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in generic office software.
Experience in the geriatric field is preferred.
Certification in generic health assessment tools is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Complete nursing assessments for registrants.
Develop and implement nursing treatment plans.
Monitor medications and inventory standards.
Handle medical emergencies and educate staff.
Maintain a safe and clean environment.
Provide health counseling and education.
Act as liaison between program and medical professionals.

Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Current nursing license from the State Board of Nursing.
