An established behavioral health organization is seeking an independently licensed Clinical Manager to support the launch and ongoing operations of a Sobering and Deflection Center in Portland, Oregon . This program provides immediate support and stabilization for individuals experiencing acute intoxication, substance-related impairment, behavioral health crises, and other community-based needs—while helping divert individuals away from emergency departments and the criminal justice system.

The Clinical Manager will oversee daily clinical operations and provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team supporting individuals in crisis. What You'll Be Doing
- Provide clinical and operational oversight for the Sobering and Deflection Center
- Supervise and support behavioral health staff, case managers, peer support specialists, and clinical personnel
- Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff as appropriate
- Ensure trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and person-centered care practices
- Assist with crisis intervention, de-escalation, and clinical decision-making in high-acuity situations
- Partner with nursing staff, providers, EMS, hospitals, and community organizations to coordinate care and diversion efforts
- Support onboarding, coaching, staff development, and ongoing clinical training
- Monitor documentation standards, program compliance, and quality assurance initiatives
- Participate in incident review, performance improvement, and operational planning
- Help maintain a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for both participants and staff
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required
- Active independent Oregon licensure required (LCSW, LPC, or
- LMFT)Previous leadership or supervisory experience within behavioral health, substance use treatment, crisis stabilization, or community-based services strongly preferred
- Experience working with high-acuity behavioral health and substance use populations required
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented practices
- Ability to lead effectively in fast-paced, evolving clinical environments
- Strong communication, leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
