Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 1st 12-hour days, float as needed, up to every other weekend Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: One year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent Must-Have: - Excellent customer service - Critical thinking - Communication - Organizational skills - Medical-Surgical nursing experience Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role incorporates essential functions adapted from the nursing scope and standards of practice.
