Pediatric Physical Therapist - Full Time (Complex Care)

Job Purpose:Physical Therapists strive to maximize function and movement, minimize physical limitations, and increase independence and participation of each child through providing therapeutic techniques, equipment, and opportunities.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:DutyPercent of TimeUpon provider referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plan including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective.20%Performs individualized treatment procedures in a professional and compassionate manner to maximize child’s performance.50%Collaborates and communicates effectively with members of the patient care team, performs timely and accurate documentation, and stays up to date on the most recent physical therapy techniques through research and CE15%Evaluates need, orders, and/or fabricates appropriate therapeutic equipment as indicated by patient need.10%Participates in staff trainings, student observations, clinical instruction of students and interns, and family training opportunities5%Qualifications:Education:Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy.Experience:Pediatric experience preferred.License/Certification/Credential:Physical Therapy License from the state of Oklahoma or proven eligibility for licensing within 3-6 months of employment with temporary provisional license.Our work begins where we are all equal - at the heart.Bethany Children’s Health Center (formerly The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital) located in Bethany, Oklahoma is an innovative leader in the field of pediatric rehabilitation and 24-hour complex care.
