Coordinator of Administrative Services

Rutgers University is hiring a Coordinator of Administrative Services. The role manages daily administrative tasks, independently coordinates lecturer and adjunct contractual processes, ensures compliance with contracts, timelines, and budgets, and supports budget planning and course enrollment monitoring within the School of Arts and Sciences. Highlights Provide day-to-day administrative support and direct support for the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education. Independently coordinate contractual processes for approximately 1,000 lecturers and co‑adjunct appointments annually. Ensure compliance with contracts, timelines, and budgets related to faculty appointments. Prepare, process, and oversee data to support budgetary planning. Review and monitor course enrollment and support other administrative duties in the Dean’s Office. Proficient in managing and updating Microsoft Access databases. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience plus two years of relevant administrative experience. Preferred experience includes prior work in higher education and familiarity with faculty contracts and collective bargaining agreements. Starting salary range: $68,278 to $100,509, commensurate with experience.
