Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent 15 years as a home builder, and I’ve also served as an active law enforcement officer for 20 years. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and am a married father of two. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, hunting, long-distance and clay shooting, and occasionally getting out on the golf course. Our agency offers paid time off, paid holidays, and licensing costs paid up front. We also prioritize work-life balance with a 35-hour workweek. Our regular schedule is 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with a one-hour lunch each day. Our office is laid-back, close-knit, and fun. We genuinely get along with one another, communicate well, and believe enjoying the people you work with makes a difference. At the same time, we value accountability and expect everyone to take ownership of their responsibilities. ROLE DESCRIPTION: As an Account Manager for Jeremy Hooter - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agent office departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth. Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers. Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues. Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred. Leadership and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of meeting sales targets. Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
