Job Title: Production Helper Job Description

Join our team as a Production Helper, working in a dynamic cleanroom/sterile/food environment. This role involves machine operation, sanitation, and quality assurance tasks. Machine operators will create products and ensure machines are running smoothly, while sanitation workers will be responsible for cleaning equipment and moving items. Quality technicians will perform checks on items leaving the machines, ensuring quality standards are met. This position is not suitable for individuals with allergies to wheat, soybean/soy, or dairy. The facility operates in a union environment with opportunities for job movement. Employees are required to adhere to GMP standards, including wearing protective gear and maintaining personal hygiene.

• Operate machinery to create products and keep machines loaded and running.
• Perform sanitation duties including cleaning equipment, flooring, and moving items.
• Conduct quality checks on items, both delivered and picked up from the facility.
• Adhere to GMP standards, including wearing hair nets, smocks, and protective gear.
• Communicate with management for potential job movement if current role isn't suitable.

• Experience in machine operation within a manufacturing setting.
• Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform tasks requiring constant movement.

• Experience in food environments is preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing is required.

This position offers growth opportunities in both pay and internal movement. Employees can benefit from a structured pay progression over 32 months and a $0.50 increase upon direct hire. The company supports career development within a supportive union environment.

Work in a large food manufacturing environment with over 100 workers. The facility offers 1st and 2nd shift options, with flexible start and end times due to scheduling demands. Employees must comply with safety and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate attire and avoiding personal items like jewelry and cell phones.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maumee, OH.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
