The Associate Patient Care Coordinator reports to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, and cashiering. This role also answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions, acting as a front office support function. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PSTLocation: 8526 Del Webb Blvd. Las Vegas, NV. May be required to travel to other sites for coverage, depending on business need. Primary Responsibilities:Schedule patient appointments, verifying correct visit type and primary care providerProvide exceptional service to all customersResponsible to greet patient and check patient in and out. Ensure demographics including insurance information are correct in IDX and update as necessaryCollect appropriate co-pays and adhere to all cash handling policiesResponsible for waiting room management cleanliness, communicate pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been assistedWork with back office staff to ensure smooth patient flowResolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessaryAssist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areasWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED 1+ years of experience in customer service 1+ years of experience providing administrative support in a healthcare, medical office, and/or health insurance environmentBeginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of data entry experience 1+ years of experience with EMR computer applications Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
