Data Entry Specialist

Role Description
Numbers tell a story, and at BenGen, you'll be the one making sure that story is always accurate. We're looking for a detail-obsessed accounting professional to be the backbone of our finance team, keeping our books clean, our transactions reconciled, and our reporting airtight.
This isn't just data entry. You'll own the accuracy of our financial system end to end:
- Entering transactions
- Reconciling accounts
- Catching errors before they become problems
- Helping us close each month with confidence

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in an accounting role, ideally with high transaction volume
- Solid grasp of accounting principles, compliance, and financial reporting
- Sharp analytical skills and a genuine love of precision
- Excel proficiency, with NetSuite experience a strong plus
- A collaborative mindset and clear communication style
Requirements
- NetSuite Data Entry: Keep our financial system accurate and current with precise, efficient data entry
- Expense Report Review: Verify reimbursements and per diem rates so every expense report is right the first time
- File Prep and Import: Build and import CSV files for bank, credit card, and advertising transactions
- Excel Reporting: Track spending across Subscriptions, Recruiting, Executive costs, Travel, and more
- Daily Bank Matching: Handle return payment journal entries, test payments, and reconciliation work
- Bill Approvals: Manage the approval workflow so every expense is authorized and accounted for
- Weekly P&L and Balance Sheet Review: Catch and correct errors before they compound
