What You Will Do (Responsibilities): Chairside Assisting: Assist Dr. Shutts efficiently in a variety of general and biological dental procedures (including mercury-safe filling removals, same-day crowns, and metal-free implants). Patient Comfort: Welcome patients warmly, review their health histories, and help ease dental anxieties by providing clear, patient-centric education. Eco-Sterilization & Setup: Prepare and break down treatment rooms using our practice's preferred eco-friendly, non-hazardous disinfectants and biodegradable materials. Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral impressions. Team Collaboration: Help manage clinical inventory and maintain a smooth, seamless flow between the front and back office. What We Are Looking For (Requirements): Certification: Valid Massachusetts Dental Assistant License (or currently enrolled/eligible to register). Radiology: Current Dental Radiography certification in MA. Experience: 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who aligns deeply with our green philosophy.
