Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 1 year of recent Med Surg experience with telemetry and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the MS/Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Meditech charting system used, experience preferred but not required
• Floating required to other MS units if needed, with potential to float to PCU if skills align
• ACLS certification required only if skillset allows for PCU float
• Remote telemetry monitoring may be included in job duties

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS required only if floating to PCU
• 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required due to potential remote monitoring duties
• Experience with 1:5 patient ratio required
• Charting system experience required (any system accepted)

• Orientation held every Monday
• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Holiday coverage is required
• RTO should be kept to a minimum
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Former permanent employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate
