Pharmacy Manager (Pharmacist in Charge)

Location: Ontario, CA

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance in a hospital setting. This role combines leadership responsibilities with clinical and dispensing duties.

Shift & Schedule:

Monday Friday
8:00 AM 5:00 PM
No on-call (must be available by phone as needed)

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily pharmacy operations, staffing, and workflow management
Serve as Pharmacist in Charge per State Board of Pharmacy requirements
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Oversee medication dispensing, clinical functions, and quality assurance initiatives
Develop and implement process improvements and workflow efficiencies
Provide staff education, training, and support on procedures and best practices

Requirements:

Active California Board of Pharmacy (BOP) license
BLS certification (AHA required)
Minimum 5 years of recent Pharmacy Manager experience in a hospital setting
