Payroll Specialist Responsibilities

• Backup and administrative support for union and multistate payroll processes.
• Assist with payroll processing, filings, reporting, and maintaining accurate employee records.
• Support union payroll communications, audits, and related documentation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, layoffs, and other payroll-related administrative tasks.
• Help coordinate payroll information and reporting across various unions and locations.
• Step in to support the payroll team and field operations when needed.

Preferred Qualifications for Payroll Specialist Role

• Experience with union payroll and multistate payroll is required.
• Construction payroll experience strongly preferred, including experience with Jonas or similar construction payroll software.
• Experience working with multiple unions and handling payroll-related reporting and documentation.
• Team-oriented and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while knowing when to ask for help.
• Must be comfortable working onsite in McMurray, PA the majority of the week.
