Maintenance Technician

We're hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial facility systems. This role supports the reliability of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R, refrigeration, and automated equipment while ensuring a safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, pumps, and lighting

• Perform basic plumbing repairs and general building maintenance

• Maintain HVAC/R, refrigeration, food service equipment, and overhead doors

• Service conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, printers, scales, and UPS equipment

• Assist with PLC and control system troubleshooting

• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings

• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation

• Participate in an on-call rotation

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license

• Commercial or industrial maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with 480V 3-phase, 110VAC, and 24VDC systems

• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work from ladders

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Must pass background, drug, and MVR screenings

Preferred

• Technical training or trade school

• EPA Certification (Type I, II, or Universal)

• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, automation controls, conveyors, and food service equipment

• UST Class B Certification
