Team Description The Senior Portfolio Manager provides strategic and tactical support for creating and sustaining effective technology business demand and resource management processes across Enterprise Technology. The role involves analysis, planning support, and data insights to align services and products with projects, programs, resources, and application portfolios. The manager collaborates with teammates, leaders, and stakeholders from Technology, business, and finance to align with organizational strategies and business outcomes, selects programs or projects with senior leaders, prioritizes efforts to drive operational cost management, and secures resources for project and product/service success. The role will help build a cross‑functional technology portfolio management center of excellence grounded in Technology Business Management principles. What You’ll Do Manage all aspects of technology portfolio management, including project ideation, scoping, prioritization, approval, activation, and service/product/application cost transparency support. Conduct portfolio review meetings with executives to establish a prioritized portfolio. Define, establish, and implement enhancements to portfolio processes, procedural documentation, tool requirements, and end‑user training. Support cost optimization processes, including alignment with software rationalization and vendor management organizations. Develop and foster relationships and engagement models with Enterprise Technology leaders, PMO, owners, and external partners. Elevate awareness of cross‑portfolio dependencies and impacts. Exercise critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail. Collaborate, delegate, and oversee analytic deliverables with Portfolio and Business Operations Analysts. Own completion of special projects (up to 10%). Deliver on ad‑hoc requests as required (up to 10%). Required Qualifications & Skills 7+ years of combined IT experience in portfolio, demand, or operational finance (strongly preferred). Experience supporting a large technology portfolio of project and operational costs with multiple business stakeholders. Demonstrable experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel visualizations. Experience with a PPM tool (e.g., Clarity, Planview, Align) preferred. Ability to present materials to management to drive decision making. Strong communication skills across multiple organizational levels. Critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail. Adaptability to a fast‑paced dynamic environment with consistent change. Proficiency in Microsoft Office online and collaboration tools. Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications desired. Experience in resource management and AI is a plus. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $120,100 to $165,100 per year, and in Burbank, CA is $126,100 to $173,300 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary by location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
