Hospital Assistant II

Responsibilities Assist technologists with room turnover and cleaning of equipment. Prepare patients for examination and change patient positioning as needed. Provide transportation for patients to and from the Department of Radiology. Assist patients onto the imaging table when necessary. Audit and distribute supplies and linen. Transport equipment or laboratory specimens as required. Promote department safety policies, including MR and radiation safety. Required Qualifications High School Diploma. Read and write English. Flexibility in scheduling; ability to rotate shifts and cover weekends and holidays as needed. Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a hospital acute care setting or imaging center. BLS – CPR certified.
