Overview
ER Registered Nurse (Emergency Department) travel assignment in Dundee, Kansas. Start date: 09/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Pay: $2,077-$2,219 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (1900-0700). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to ER patients, including initial assessment, triage, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments per physician orders; observe and document patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team; communicate patient status and plan of care; maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
- Perform ER procedures within scope of practice; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; support rapid disposition decisions.
- Monitor for changes in condition, respond to emergencies, activate code protocols as needed, and ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and coordinate follow-up care when appropriate.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas (or eligibility to practice in Kansas)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of ER experience with travel experience; 2 years ER experience and 1 year travel experience preferred
- Floating: Ability to float to units within scope of practice as needed
- Scheduling: Availability for 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation; holidays as unit needs
