Director of Asset Management

The Opportunity: We're looking for a Director of Asset Management to lead performance and value creation across a portfolio of multifamily investments. This is a high-visibility role — you'll be the go-to person for asset-level strategy, financial performance, and stakeholder communication from acquisition through disposition. You'll partner directly with property management teams, capital markets, investor relations, and senior leadership to drive NOI growth, oversee capital projects, guide refinance/disposition decisions, and deliver institutional-grade reporting. What You'll Own: Drive financial and operating performance across your portfolio — budget-to-actual analysis, pro forma modeling, and more Monitor balance sheet health and cash flow across assets, including property-level cash management Build and manage capital expenditure plans, budgets, and execution timelines Maintain an asset watchlist — spotting underperformance early and driving remediation strategies Lead sale-vs-refinance analyses to inform capital allocation decisions Develop and track KPIs that move the needle on performance Spearhead cross-functional projects and help shape best practices across the AM function Serve as a key point of contact for investors, lenders, attorneys, vendors, and senior execs Craft institutional-quality reports and presentations for investors and leadership Juggle multiple concurrent projects — on time, on budget, on point What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field 3–5+ years of experience in real estate, with multifamily asset management experience in an institutional environment preferred Demonstrated experience with financial oversight, CapEx management, and strategic decision-making Strong experience with variance analysis, pro forma modeling, and financial reporting Experience developing, monitoring, and analyzing KPIs to evaluate performance and drive results Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with investors, lenders, property management teams, legal partners, and vendors Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and effectively manage multiple priorities Based in Miami, FL; relocation assistance or consideration may be available for the right candidate Willingness to travel as needed Advenir Azora Living is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace, committed to diversity and inclusion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
