Location: Goldsmith, TX, US, 79741 Job Field: Operations Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future As a Measurement Technician you will be responsible for ensuring accurate measurement of volumes and you are the first to identify potential needs for preventative maintenance. You will use meters to inform the Company and our customers about pipeline flows. This position is responsible for measurement assets within areas around Ector through Midland County, and is focused on the following: Flow computers, sampling, and LACT- Lease Automatic Custody Transfer Units (Plant and Field). This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. What You'll Do Performing complex calibration, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. Handling discrepancy identification and resolution. (L&U, quality shifts, etc.). Training and mentoring of new or less skilled employees. Measurement of low and high-pressure gathering systems. Installation, programming, and calibration of Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) computers. Collect liquid samples. Install, operate, and maintain liquid sampling systems. Install, program, maintain, and calibrate portable and stationary gas or liquid chromatographs. Schedule, complete, and witness proving on liquid meters. Routine inspection, calibration, and repair of meter and associated equipment (provers, Coriolis, positive displacement, turbine, ultrasonic meter, flow computer). Routine inspection, maintenance and repair of communications equipment and sampling system. Performs product composition and quality sampling and testing. Work autonomously at varying times and in diverse weather conditions, at remote field locations. Available for callout. Participate and successfully complete training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy. Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements. Accurately complete documentation such as timesheets, Testit Tickets, safe job plans/work permits and regulatory reports. Optimize work in most effective (efficient and leveraging priority) manner, in alignment with Industry Standards, and within the tenets Phillips 66 Safety policies and procedures. Maintain facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices. Effectively utilize tools and test equipment as needed. Respond to operational emergencies as a member of an emergency response team. Perform and accurately document regulatory required inspections. May oversee contractors providing specialty services (Quality Assurance, Quality Control). Maintain and troubleshoot Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG equipment). Witness NGL and crude LACT skid proving. Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

What Makes You Stand Out Preferred 1 or more years of experience in oil and gas or relevant industry 1 or more years of experience in the gas measurement field Basic level of understanding and/or experience with portable gas chromatograph Experience working with drawings and schematics Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Compensation Range This position has a base salary range of $70,200 $123,200. At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation. Each role is assigned a salary grade with a defined pay range, benchmarked against industry peers.
