Retail Pharmacist - Ongoing Friday Coverage NC

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist to provide ongoing Friday coverage at a retail pharmacy in North Carolina. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for consistent weekly hours, with the potential for additional coverage opportunities.

Position Details

Position: Retail Pharmacist
Schedule: Fridays, ongoing
Hours: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
Additional Coverage: Additional days may be available as needed, including vacation coverage
Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Staffing: 1 Pharmacist + 2 Pharmacy Technicians

Requirements
Active North Carolina Pharmacist License
At least 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience
Immunization certification is preferred, as immunizations may occasionally be required
Responsibilities

The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for:

Verifying prescriptions and medications
Checking pharmacy technician work
Answering patient calls and assisting with questions
Providing patient counseling
Administering immunizations, if appropriately certified
Supporting the pharmacy team with daily operations
