Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts), with every other weekend and holiday rotations.
This position requires a dedicated registered nurse with a minimum of 13 weeks of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical environment. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients with various conditions, including stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, and complex orthopedic injuries. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to maximize patient recovery and support them in achieving their highest level of independence.
Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring patient conditions.
Assist in creating and implementing individualized care plans.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Engage in patient education to promote recovery and health management.
Respond to patient needs promptly, including answering call lights and assisting nursing assistants.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
Inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical experience is preferred.
Current BLS certification required.
Must possess an active RN license.
