About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated full-stack software engineer dedicated to reshaping patient experiences with medications through the power of generative AI and specialized technologies. You will collaborate closely with our founders and early team members across all aspects of product and engineering:

• Drive the evolution of Pharmesol's Agentic AI for Pharmacies by enhancing existing capabilities and building new features and products.
• Implement scalable systems designed to support complex, diverse user attributes.
• Design and implement LLMs, custom agent behaviors, and integrations tailored to pharmacy use cases by leveraging prompt engineering and other techniques.
• Evolve infrastructure for performance and scalability, while supporting customer integrations across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Maintain and streamline CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe shipping.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks, optimize system reliability, and handle edge cases proactively.
• Write clean, testable code and simulate complex scenarios to ensure stability.
• Ensure secure, HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap in tight feedback loops with the team and customers.
• Stay hands-on and deeply detail-oriented in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

About You

• 4+ years of full-time software engineering experience (excluding internships); early-stage startup experience preferred.

• Embrace AI SWE tools to 10x your speed and output quality.

• Strong backend experience with Python, JS/Typescript, working with APIs, and deploying on AWS. Comfortable with Postgres, modern frontend frameworks.

• Experienced in building and evolving systems to support diverse sets of users and workflows.

• Hands-on experience with generative AI, prompt engineering, or voice AI systems—whether through personal projects or in production.

• Comfortable operating in high-pressure, fast-paced environments; you deliver high-quality work under tight timelines with a strong sense of ownership.

• You take initiative and ownership, proactively seeking ways to contribute beyond your defined role. You embrace challenges without hesitation, stepping up to solve problems and drive meaningful results.

• You write and speak clearly, ask thoughtful questions, listen actively, and treat feedback as fuel for growth.

• You build daily, ship features daily and larger projects weekly, and look for ways we can improve.

• Bonus: experience as a founder or founding engineer, or in healthtech/pharmacy tech.
