Founding Full-Stack Engineer

We are looking for a founding full-stack engineer to join our technical team, and contribute to building the infrastructure that shapes how AI will change the physical world.

About the role

Robust visual AI is the key to unlock the potential of AI in the real world from core industries (healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, and defense) to cutting-edge autonomous robots. As a full-stack software engineer, you will have the opportunity to shape the infrastructure that enables customers to deploy visual AI with confidence. In this role, you may work on various technical aspects of our platform:

• Building features end-to-end: front-end, back-end, system design, debugging and testing
• Architect scalable and reliable system infrastructures, manage cloud resources, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure efficient deployment and monitoring of ML models across the platform.
• Work closely with ML Engineers, CTO, and other stakeholders to ensure high performance, security, and reliability throughout the entire technology stack.

Location. On-site in our office in New York City.

Work Authorization. At this time, only U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (Greencard holders) are considered.

Who are we looking for

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in end-to-end software development.
• Proficient in front-end frameworks (React) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python), with a strong ability to design and implement scalable system architectures.
• Experience working with common distributed systems infrastructure: Redis, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Celery
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning.

Nice to have:

• 3+ years of SWE industry work experience preferred.
• Experience with container orchestration and management technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated experience in building and managing end-to-end features on MLOps platforms, including the development, debugging, testing, and deployment of machine learning pipelines and services.
• Prior contributions to open source projects.

Compensation and benefits:

Annual Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 USD

The actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skills, and business considerations.
