PACS Administrator

Job Summary Clinical Imaging Radiology position with 5-7 years of Radiology PACS experience. Job Description Provide technical expertise in one or more information technology disciplines to support the organization's technical infrastructure. Responsibilities Respond to user problems by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. Troubleshoot most Radiology application problems independently. Possess and apply working knowledge of at least one technology environment to address and resolve problems. Analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established procedures and/or detailed specifications. Write fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner and according to standards. Share knowledge effectively within the work team. Has solid knowledge and skill sets for supported platforms/products and environments that support the Clinical Imaging Space. Can understand customer requirements and their impact on the technical direction of a solution. Manages own work within a larger team and handles tasks of greater duration and complexity. Forms productive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively. Develops and presents internal documentation for the team. Develops and presents external documentation for clinical associates. Mentors other associates on the team. Generates ad‑hoc reporting as required. Collaborates with both internal and external resource partners. Troubleshoots support issues and assists with analyst‑level escalations. Builds new test and production environments. Performs or assists in application upgrades and application lifecycle management. Is familiar with ServiceNow incident and task management, including assignment, tracking, and updates. Contributes to the development of project plans, identifies key milestones, and raises critical project issues such as resource needs and contingencies. Possesses extensive hands‑on experience and in‑depth knowledge of Change Healthcare Radiology PACS, GE Viewpoint, TeraRecon, Rapid, DynaCAD, and other ancillary Radiology applications. Location & Employment Location: Telecommute Job Type: Contract Work Hours: 9am to 5pm Education: No Degree Required Compensation & Benefits Salary: $75 – $81 per hour.
