Finance & Supplier Services Lead

We're seeking a detail-oriented, analytically driven financial services professional to support our client's content transformation initiative. This role involves financial management, budget management, vendor coordination, and operational oversight within a dynamic marketing environment. This is an approximately eight-month contract role based onsite in NYC. Join a team focused on leveraging innovative technology investments to generate significant value. Finance & Supplier Services Lead Responsibilities Monitor and validate all expenditure across budget lines, including software licenses, consulting, and staffing costs, ensuring strict financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle. Track and measure return on investment and cost savings by managing agency spend, automation scaling, and ROI metrics, including maintaining a multi-year NPV model. Develop and update comprehensive reports and dashboards to present financial and operational insights to senior leadership, utilizing tools such as macros, data evaluation, and audience-specific decks. Collaborate with sourcing teams to restructure agency contracts, support vendor negotiations, and manage cross-line-of-business expense data and savings tracking. Use project management platforms to identify resource capacity issues, generate regular reports, and track progress on transformation milestones and change initiatives. Finance & Supplier Services Lead Qualifications Strong background in finance, accounting, or business management with a minimum of three years managing large, complex budgets. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including building dashboards, macros, formulas, models, and conducting NPV analyses from scratch. Bachelor's Degree or MBA in finance, accounting, or business administration. Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, strategic narratives tailored for executive audiences. Experience creating detailed financial and operational reports for senior management and understanding of confidentiality protocols regarding sensitive information.
