Responsibilities Work with a team of engineers on transit and freight rail projects. Assist in structural analysis and design for simple and complex bridges and ancillary structures, as well as the development of structural plans and construction cost estimates and be exposed to construction support services. Perform field inspection of bridges under qualified inspectors and assist on load rating calculations of such bridges. Required Skills & Required Experience Currently pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Structural Engineering or Rail Engineering) is required. Previous internship experience preferred. Experience using MS Office software and CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Desire to work in a team environment. Salary Range $18.75/hour - $29.75/hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
