What You'll Bring:

• Valid medical license and Board Certification or Eligibility in OB/GYN
• Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, with proficiency in low and high-risk pregnancy care, obstetric procedures, and surgical gynecology
• Strong clinical skills, including fetal monitoring, ultrasounds, and gynecologic procedures
• Compassionate bedside manner and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently yet collaboratively within a team of physicians, midwives, and support staff

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Level IIIC NICU settings
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
• Comfort with performing minimally invasive procedures like LEEP, cryosurgery, and tubal ligation
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus

Preferred Education & Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain one
• At least 2 years of clinical OB/GYN experience, including surgical procedures and obstetric management

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work scheduled dates from May through August, including office hours and on-call responsibilities via Perfect Serve
• Participation in on-site and hospital-based care, including deliveries, C-sections, and gynecologic procedures
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage a patient load of approximately 25-30 patients daily
• Credentialing process estimated to take approximately 120 days post-offer
