We are looking for an experienced Garage Door Installer to join Besser Garage Doors, a Wheelhouse company. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of residential garage doors.

Installers travel to various job sites throughout the day and are responsible for completing installations safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.

Installation Responsibilities
• Install residential garage doors
• Ensure all installations are completed properly and meet company quality and safety standards
• Test garage door systems after installation to ensure proper operation
• Troubleshoot installation issues and make adjustments as needed

Safety & Compliance
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
• Properly use PPE, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment

Customer Service & Communication
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers and team members
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company in a professional manner
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend products or upgrades when appropriate
• Sales experience is a plus, or willingness to learn basic selling techniques

Documentation & Equipment
• Complete work orders and installation documentation accurately
• Record parts used, labor time, and job details in company systems/tablets
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition

Qualifications
• Previous garage door installation experience required
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying environments
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
