Ø POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the daily setup and operation of hydraulic CNC controlled press brakes. This position may be required to perform other operations on production machines as required.

Ø ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Perform Press Break Operations:

o Conduct all set-up and quality operations in support of machining for self and others. Set-up and operate machines in accordance with travelers and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)

o Create, edit and/or retrieve CNC programs from system files and execute

o Manufacture product that meets quality requirements. Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection.

o Meet time and schedule standards for assigned task

o Keep equipment clean and maintain proper fluid levels

o Return all fixtures and tooling upon job completion

· Account for time and work completed via computer access E2 management system

· Keep equipment clean and maintain proper operating standards

· Return all fixtures and tooling upon job completion

· Advise supervision of issues that arise

· Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance

· Identify set-up reduction opportunities and Lean process opportunities and communicate to proper 6s team lead

· Assume other responsibilities as required

· Meet quality requirements of all assigned processes

· Conduct all operations in a safe manner

Ø QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

· Ability to read & understand blueprints and technical documents commensurate with machine operation

· A genuine belief in continuous improvement and disciplined processes and a willingness to analyze, challenge and change processes, if needed, to create a more efficient environment and culture

· Organizational and time management skills

· Self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize work day/projects independently

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong metal press forming and basic fabrication background

· Strong knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydraulic press and/or punch operations including basic set up

· Ability to use various inspection gages

· Basic computer knowledge

· Firm understanding of Amada NT & NC9 programing

Ø EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Ø CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED:

· Valid Driver’s License
