Cardiovascular Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Dayton, OH Role Summary: The CARD Health & Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for increasing territory sales and relationship development with assigned customers and accounts by engaging in product promotion and determining the best strategies to manage their business. Role Responsibilities Drive sales in assigned territory. Engage with customers both face‑to‑face and virtually. Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans; identify and implement live/virtual engagement strategies with customers to maximize overall effectiveness. Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments; use judgment to maintain engagement by effectively utilizing digital tools. Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities. Educate providers on product and disease‑state value proposition for relevant patient populations, using approved clinical information and resources. Collaborate effectively and compliantly across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance corporate objectives. Complete all administrative expectations on time and in compliance. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activity, small business ownership, marketing, customer service, or account management; or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; or a high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience. Full‑time military experience (if applicable). Must live within 25 miles of the territory. Valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record in compliance with company standards; no DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citations within the past 7 years. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical‑related marketing experience. Strong track record of sales or marketing success, strong territory management skills, outstanding communication skills, and demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and accountability. Experience with applicable disease states, therapeutic areas, and products. Knowledge of territory customers and markets (prescribers, healthcare providers, institutions). Reside within the territory boundaries. Other Details Territory includes: Dayton, Brookville, Williamsburg, Richmond. Last date to apply: June 24, 2026. Compensation & Benefits The annual base salary ranges from $76,000 to $199,600. During initial new hire sales training, the employee will be classified as a salary non-exempt employee, entitling them to overtime pay. Upon training certification, the employee becomes an overtime exempt employee. An additional quarterly sales incentive bonus is offered.
