Associate Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager, Associate Location: Stockton, CA Notes ONLY SUBMIT CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING LOCAL TO AREA/NEAR WORK LOCATION-STOCKTON. ASSIGNMENT IS HYBRID AND WILL BE REQUIRED 1-3 TIMES A WEEK AT STOCKTON SITE OR OTHER LOCATIONS AS REQUESTED. Job Description Define project scope and objectives. Develop cost/benefit analysis, detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, test plans, contracts, risk and mitigation strategies, change management plans, and communication plans. Define and secure authorization and funding for projects. Determine staffing needs and individual roles and responsibilities for the project team. Project Management Responsibilities Direct and monitor the work of team members and conduct project meetings. Maintain the project plan, including risk management, issue management, change management, and communication plans. Ensure all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitments are communicated to impacted team members. Manage relationships and coordinate work across different teams, locations, vendors, and subcontractors. Oversee the overall management and integration of requirements, including vendor tasks. Track and review vendor deliverables. Measure, monitor, and report project progress at defined milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery by balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks. Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and resolution of problems. Skills Required Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and presentation skills. Ability to present information, status updates, and issues in a clear and concise manner to drive decision-making. Ability to organize and facilitate groups effectively while keeping projects moving forward. Ability to work effectively with senior staff members and management. Desired Qualifications Previous experience in Project Management. PMP certification. BA/BS in Management, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related experience.
