Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin | Hybrid opportunity available for local candidates. Remote flexibility is available for attorneys who can reliably attend court appearances and in-person obligations as needed.

Note: Litigation experience is required. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Milwaukee and be able to attend court. Attorneys from law firms, in-house legal departments, and solo practices are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

• Represent clients throughout all phases of civil litigation.
• Manage case strategy from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Negotiate settlements while advocating for clients' best interests.
• Maintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Wisconsin Bar admission or ability to practice in Wisconsin.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience handling litigation matters with increasing independence.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a collaborative environment.
