What Makes This Role Stand Out Lead high-impact water and wastewater projects that improve communities Play a key role in growing and mentoring a team of engineers and technical staff Enjoy variety and autonomy - no two projects (or days) look the same Contribute to business development and client strategy , not just project delivery Flexible hybrid work in any Midwest office What You’ll Be Doing Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects Manage projects end‑to‑end—ensuring scope, schedule, and budget success Guide and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and CAD professionals Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions Prepare and review technical deliverables, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates Partner with clients and regulatory agencies to keep projects moving forward Support and help win new work through proposals and client engagement What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 7+ years of experience in water, wastewater, or stormwater project delivery A strong foundation in project management and team leadership Professional Engineer (PE) license Solid technical expertise and a passion for delivering quality work Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus Salary Range The starting salary for this position is $125,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.
