Job Description As a Armed Security Officer - Field Patrol in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.88 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and support the control of entry and exit activity involving employees, visitors, deliveries, and sensitive areas. Support site emergency protocols by assisting with evacuations, medical responses, and/or facility disruptions while following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
