As a Physical Therapist Assistant , you'll contribute to Elara Caring's success by promoting the company's philosophy and providing direct physical therapy services in accordance with accepted standards and physician certification. You will follow the Plan of Care set by the Physical Therapist and adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines. Responsibilities include verifying the Plan of Care, incorporating patient care goals, instructing patients and families in safe use of assistive devices, and maintaining continuity of care. This position requires full range of body motion, handling, lifting, and transferring patients. Irregular hours may apply.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• 6+ months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area (up to 50%).
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
