We're in the next phase of growth, and every hire here directly shapes what customers see next.Role OverviewWe are hiring an Implementations Specialist to launch new customers onto Trayd. You will own customer implementations from sales handoff through first live payroll: gathering and migrating data, running kickoff calls, configuring accounts, training customers, and supporting launch. You will be the customer's primary point of contact throughout - this is a customer-facing role, not a back-office data role. Implementations are where customers hand us their data, their workflows, and their trust. The work demands precision, proactive communication, and comfort with messy, real-world data. You'll follow a proven playbook, and as you master it, you'll help make it better. You will have the autonomy to tackle hard problems from end to end, make decisions that shape the trajectory of the company, and see the impact of your work firsthand. You will help build the foundation for Trayd's growth beyond Series A, with massive room for your own growth throughout the organization as we scale together.What You'll DoOwn customer implementations end to end, from kickoff and data migration through first live payroll and handoff to Customer Success.Serve as the primary customer contact during onboarding, understanding existing payroll workflows, configuring Trayd, and providing platform training.Manage and QA migration of employee, compensation, and payroll data from legacy systems with a high degree of accuracy.Manage multiple implementations against launch timelines while identifying product or process gaps and improving the implementation playbook.Who You Are1–4 years of experience in implementations, onboarding, customer success, consulting, or operations, ideally in SaaS or technology-enabled services.Strong customer-facing and communication skills, with confidence working directly with construction business owners and operators.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data validation) and a high degree of ownership, accuracy, and follow-through.Comfortable operating in ambiguity, eager to learn the construction industry, and NYC-based or willing to relocate.What We NeedYou're driven to accomplish something meaningful, operate with speed and intensity, and won't let setbacks get in the way of achieving success.You're resourceful and adaptable, finding a way forward when the path isn't clear, learning quickly from failure, and enjoying the challenge of figuring things out.You've excelled in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and have a track record of setting high standards for yourself, whether that's in sales, consulting, finance, athletics, startups, or somewhere else entirely.Nice To HavePrior implementations or onboarding experience, ideally with payroll, financial, ERP, or compliance-heavy software.Experience in startup or high-growth environments, with construction or manufacturing exposure a plus.Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools.Working StyleThis is an in-person role in New York City, five days a week.
