We are seeking a Vehicle Feature Owner (VFO) to own the functional definition, requirements, and technical evolution of assigned vehicle features throughout the product development lifecycle. The VFO will define feature behavior, performance expectations, operating conditions, and functional intent, ensuring requirements align with vehicle objectives, customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and overall system architecture. This role works closely with Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, Architecture, Design Engineering, Software, and Validation teams to assess feature changes, analyze system-level impacts, resolve technical issues, and ensure feature requirements are accurately translated into system-level requirements. The position is primarily focused on feature requirements definition, system-level impact analysis, and investigation of issues identified during software validation and overall vehicle/system integration. Key Responsibilities Feature Definition & Requirements Ownership Own the functional definition and technical intent of assigned vehicle features. Define feature behavior, performance expectations, operating conditions, and functional boundaries. Develop and maintain feature-level requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, traceable, and aligned with vehicle and program objectives. Serve as the technical point of contact for feature intent and expected system behavior. Provide clarification and interpretation of feature requirements to engineering and validation teams. Feature Impact & Change Assessment Evaluate the technical impact of: New vehicle features Feature modifications Carry-over content Regulatory changes Determine how feature changes affect existing system requirements and vehicle functions. Assess downstream impacts across vehicle systems, interfaces, software, and hardware. Initiate and support requirement updates when changes affect feature behavior or vehicle performance. Provide technical justification for feature and requirement changes. System & Software Issue Analysis Analyze issues identified during software validation, system integration, and vehicle-level testing . Work with engineering teams to understand expected versus actual feature behavior. Support issue reproduction, technical analysis, and root-cause investigation. Determine whether issues are related to requirements, system behavior, software implementation, interfaces, or feature integration. Recommend requirement, design, or feature changes when required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
