In this role you'll support production by optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring high quality and efficiency in everything we make. You'll be responsible for applying engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products. If you're excited about seeing tangible results from your work, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where growth is constant, joining Kaidi could be the journey of a lifetime!Key ResponsibilitiesImprove manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layoutDevelop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendorsIdentify issues and implement solutions for the manufacturing process or equipmentMonitor and analyze production metrics to drive continuous improvement and reduce downtimeProvide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costsSupport Production Technicians by assisting them in troubleshooting complex machine and process issuesPrepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsWork with the quality team to perform root cause analysis and corrective action for quality issuesDesign or source manufacturing tools, equipment, and fixturesProduce documentation, work instructions, and training materials for shop floor useMaintain product and process databases by writing programs and entering dataCoordinate new product introductions with multidisciplinary teamsGenerate specifications, validation plans, and acceptance criteria for new equipment, materials, and processesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor 's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field3+ years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering or a related fieldExperience in steel furniture manufacturing is a plusStrong problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of lean tools, principles, and methodologyProficiency in reading and developing electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics/diagramsMust be an analytical thinker with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills who has proven capability in driving resultsTeam player with demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at various organizational levels internally and externallyComfortable with change and ambiguity, with the ability to quickly propose solutions given limited guidanceSelf-directed individual with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrentlyPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with PLCs, conveyors, and roboticsExperience with Laser Cutting, Powder Coating, or FinishingSteel furniture manufacturing experienceOptical experience a plusProficiency in Mandarin and English is a plusWhy You'll Love Working HereOpportunity to make a real impact on the success of the operationBe part of a team that values innovation, efficiency, and craftsmanshipOpportunities for growth, learning, and leadership in a dynamic manufacturing environmentCompetitive pay and benefits including medical/dental/visionWorking EnvironmentOn-site role in a production facility - daily presence on the shop floor requiredAbility to access and navigate all areas of the facilities and perform the above-mentioned essential dutiesOccasional travel may be required for trainingPay$70,000 - $90,000 per yearBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid holidaysPaid vacation and sick time IRA with matching $Ready to join a company that puts people and safety first?
