Help a high-performance manufacturing team deliver custom contract work—from single components to OEM parts and subassemblies, all the way to complete manufacturing and engineering services. On 2nd or 3rd shift, you’ll convert drawings into reality, keep programs and files organized per Plant Manager direction, and ensure every die component meets spec.

Own the challenge

• Run CNC equipment using product data to create precise die components, following instructions to the letter.
• Decode blueprints for products, dies, and checking fixtures to determine geometry, structure, tooling, and verification methods.
• Maintain meticulous digital documentation; save data and tool files within an organized directory tree per Plant Manager instructions.
• Anticipate needs—request materials and resources with sufficient lead time to keep the plan on schedule.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and drill presses safely, minimizing scrap and cycle time.
• Set up and safely operate CNC equipment using a detailed instruction list to apply correct ATL offsets.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.

What sets you apart

• Minimum 2 years in machining, methodizing, and/or CNC programming.
• Decision-making that blends data trends with seasoned intuition (required).
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or logistical issues.
• Proficiency with computers and solid math fundamentals.

Physical requirements

• Extended standing and walking while operating CNC machinery.
• Frequent hand and finger use for tools, parts, and machine controls.
• Regular lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional bending, reaching, or crouching during machine loading/unloading.
• Close vision and depth perception for blueprint reading and part inspection.

The environment you’ll master

• Manufacturing floor with CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other machine tools.
• Exposure to metal shavings, cutting fluids, and lubricants.
• High noise levels—hearing protection required and provided.
• Safety glasses required and provided.
• Steel-toe safety shoes or boots required.

Shifts and hours

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Monday – Friday with occasional overtime, including weekends as needed.
