Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital ICU experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience - BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role Description: We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for an Intensive Care Unit. The unit has 26 beds and a staff of 15. The night shift consists of 13 Registered Nurses, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech. Patient ratios are 1:2. Equipment used includes balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and EMR is Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the unit include heart catheterizations, the use of balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia treatment, cardioversion, and central line placements along with medication drips. The ideal candidate will be driven, organized, efficient, and have a positive attitude. Prior experience with Meditech and travel assignments in large facilities is preferred.
