About the Position

Splinter Wolf Productions & Events is seeking a motivated, creative, and results-driven Sales & Marketing Director to help lead the continued growth of our company.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is excited about building relationships, generating new business, developing marketing strategies, and helping grow an emerging event and entertainment company.

The Sales & Marketing Director will oversee sales development and marketing initiatives across our services, including weddings, private events, corporate events, DJ entertainment, photography and videography, event planning, production services, rentals, public events, and other company offerings.

This position is commission-based during our current growth stage and includes opportunities for performance bonuses . Our goal is for this role to transition into a salaried leadership position within approximately one year , depending on business growth, revenue, and individual performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development

• Develop and execute strategies to increase company sales and revenue.

• Identify and pursue new clients, partnerships, venues, organizations, and business opportunities.

• Generate leads through outreach, networking, referrals, partnerships, digital channels, and other sales initiatives.

• Respond to and follow up with qualified sales leads.

• Conduct sales consultations and help prospective clients select appropriate services and packages.

• Develop relationships with wedding venues, event venues, businesses, schools, colleges, nonprofit organizations, community organizations, and other potential partners.

• Identify opportunities for corporate accounts, recurring clients, and strategic partnerships.

• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and track leads from initial contact through booking.

• Work with company leadership to establish sales goals and revenue targets.

• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and bundle company services.

Marketing

• Help develop and execute the company's overall marketing strategy.

• Plan promotional campaigns for services, events, packages, and special offers.

• Assist with social media strategy and content planning.

• Develop ideas for digital advertising, email marketing, community outreach, partnerships, and grassroots marketing.

• Help strengthen brand awareness throughout our service areas.

• Identify new markets and audiences for company services.

• Monitor campaign performance, lead generation, conversions, and other key marketing metrics.

• Research competitors, industry trends, pricing, and emerging opportunities.

• Collaborate with leadership and creative team members on promotional materials and campaigns.

Leadership & Growth

• Work directly with the company's executive leadership on growth strategy.

• Help establish sales processes, marketing procedures, and systems that can scale with the company.

• Provide regular reports on leads, bookings, revenue, campaigns, and sales activity.

• Assist with developing future sales and marketing team positions as the department grows.

• Represent Splinter Wolf Productions & Events professionally at networking events, meetings, expos, community events, and other opportunities.

• Help build a long-term sales and marketing department capable of supporting the company's continued expansion.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a growing organization.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, account management, or a related field.

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to generate leads and confidently communicate with prospective clients.

• Understanding of digital and social media marketing.

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Creative approach to promotions, partnerships, and business development.

• Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.

• Event, entertainment, hospitality, wedding, media, advertising, or related industry experience is a plus.

• Leadership or management experience is preferred.

Compensation

This position is commission-based during the company's current growth stage.

Compensation includes:

• Commission on qualifying sales and bookings.

• Performance-based bonus opportunities.

• Opportunities for increased compensation as sales and company revenue grow.

• Planned transition to a salaried position within approximately 12 months, dependent upon company growth, financial performance, role performance, and business needs.

The commission structure and applicable bonus opportunities will be discussed with qualified candidates before accepting the position.

The transition to salary is a company goal and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of salaried employment on a specific date.
